FAMILY

I really liked this interview process because it really got me thinking about the old days when my dad and my grandmother were little. When i interviewed my grandmother  and she told me about how when she was little and how the news guy went up and down the street yelling about the news when something big and important happened. Nowadays when something important happens you just see it on the television or the internet or the front page of the newspaper. What also shocked me was when my grandmother was little and gas was $0.17. I couldn't believe that gas was so cheap but i bet back then it was expensive for them. Now i can understand why my grandparents say that gas is so high, if i was alive back then in the 1920's i would say the same thing and I'm sure i would be mad about it to.  Another thing that shocked me was that my grandmother didn't own a credit card until she was married now a days credit cards are all that people have, no one carries cash around with them anymore. With my dad i really liked listen to him talk about Bill Clinton and how he thought he was the best President and i kind of wished that i was alive to witness him as a President because it would of been nice to see how smoothly the government ran unlike now. It was really interesting to find out about all the prices of things and the way things were back then. I thought it was fun to learn things about my grandmother and my father.
